Artists in the Classroom — now a company — began alongside work in San Francisco’s Public Eduction system. The blog series documents 7 years & beyond of itinerant dance teaching artistry, my own reflective journey as a teacher and educator, student work, and experiences in the Bay Area’s tech, conscious leadership, and meditation communities. It’s also a self-reflective ethnographic study of the arts in public education, through an equity lens, in primarily underserved communities.
